[Weekly round up] My Week in Pictures

Afternooooon lovelies! I trust you all had a fantastic and well-deserved Bank Holiday break as much as I did!  Well, I still had plenty of work to do (no rest for the wicked!) nevertheless it was relaxed and stress-free as oppose to the usually manic ones!  Why we can’t have a 3-day weekend in place all year round is still a wonder as not only do you feel you can get things done but feel like you’ve actually have a weekend! Anyway, here’s a round-up of my work/fun-fuelled week and weekend – the highlight being the Notting Hill Carnival we went with friends yesterday.19-26AUG-WEB

Sunshine in the City!

I don’t know about you but I thoroughly enjoyed my Bank Holiday weekend where I felt like I actually had time to do things aside from work and chores! Okay, so I did a bit in the evenings… nevertheless, I managed to find more time to do things I enjoy like exploring bits of London, checking out small independent galleries and weekend markets, doing a bit of craft work, finding time to socialise with friends (some new ones too! I finally met the lovely Michelle from Fox In The Attic over coffee…followed by vino) and most importantly….catching up on some ‘us‘ time with the hubby (seeing as we had been both working stupid late hours over the last couple of weeks – him more so than me that I barely saw him!) by going out for dinners, long walks and even cycling in the sunshine! This was the first time in a long while where I felt like I had a weekend….and more to the point…..a life! ;)

So here’es a peek into some of the things I did over the weekend. How did you spend your bank holiday weekend? xx
