Morning folks! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far.

If you missed it last week, I just wanted to let you know that I did another little DIY for the gorgeous B.Loved Wedding & Lifestyle blog. This time, I’m showing you how to create some cute floral felt napkin rings that’s super fun and easy to do and will add a touch of springtime to your table setting. Not only is it perfect for the home but for weddings or any occasion! You can find the full tutorial HERE.

I do hope you like it. Happy crafting lovelies xx MbM_DIY-FEATURE_NAPKIN-RINGS-02

[D.I.Y. Christmas] Handmade felt napkin ring holders

In keeping with my last two blog posts, I have another little festive DIY craft project to share with you where I show you how to use a few basic materials to make some rather effective napkin ring holders in a short space of time. This idea came out of materials I had been using whilst working on Christmas gifts and decor in the last two weeks, so it pretty much demonstrates how to use up what you have kicking about in a very quick and cost-efficient way; if you’re time-conscious or the last-minute type then this will be perfect for you! You could even get the kids or the entire family involved too….it’s that simple! :)

Cut the crafting felt sheets of your desired colour into strips; ideally around 5cm in width and 21cm in length. If, like me, you have some crafting felt that come as a4 sheets then just use the 21cm width of the sheet as your reference and divide it up into five even strips. Otherwise, work out what suits you with the amount of felt you have and how many napkin ring holders you’d like to make.

Once the required number of felt strips are cut out, it really is up to you how you decorate or embellish it. For the ones I made here, I played around with the glittery gold gift-wrapping paper, twine and some gold ribbon I had kicking about to come up with six different yet simple design combinations. There are of course plenty more variations one could come up with but in the one hour time frame I had, these the options I conjured up. So what do you think? Will you have a go yourself and let me know?
